With its swoopy lines, Devinci’s Wilson downhill bike was crying out for a weightsaving carbon fibre makeover – and here it is, just in time to see action under Stevie Smith and Nick Beer at next month’s World Champs.
Judging by these photos posted on Devinci’s Facebook page, the Wilson Carbon is very similar in design to the regular alloy Wilson, with the same Dave Weagle designed Split Pivot suspension setup and basic frame shape.
According to Pinkbike, the front triangle and seatstays are carbon but the chainstays are alloy. Devinci say this isn’t the final spec – they just bolted some kit on so they could show off the bike. There’s no word yet on pricing either.
